I am collecting parts to build my next mini bike, but I have a question about the Comet 30 torque converter. I have no experience with this unit, so I need some advice on sprocket sizes for the front and rear sprockets.
I'll be using an ATV tire 22x11.00-8 (22 inch tire diameter) on the rear. The engine is a 5 HP Briggs & Stratton. The terrain here at the farm is moderately hilly. I'm leaning more toward acceleration and hill climbing, rather than top speed. However, I don't want to just peel out all day and never get anywhere.
What tooth ratio would you guys suggest?
