That thing is TOO cool!!!!! But that background wind noise in the mike was really annoying....and I didn't even see leaves moving on the trees????

Anyone know what language that is???? It kinda sounds like German..(and it might be).... but doesn't sound like Germans speaking it....and not really German.....

it's german Doug... I assume the cam guy is from eastern germany, that's why it sounds funny

447.4 mph peak is massive I admit, and as cool as that is on paper..

where's the fun in flying an R/C plane that you
either can't see because of the size/distance ratio
or because of the field of view/speed ratio... ??

Looks like the plane for me......that way....when I inevitably crash it straight into the ground....it will already be six feet under....and we can skip the ceremony......

I bet the wingspan is not just for the lift, but also to have a better control over the maneuverability (is that even a word??)

but I think he forces the plane into a pitch when cornering with the "roll"-rudders *shrugs*

I don't see any rudder control on the plane, just elevons. So 100% bank & yank

Still not seeing any control surfaces on the rudders, however the control horns for the elevons go into the lower section of them. I'm looking at it around the 4:50 mark, am I missing something?

Oh .. you're right, much earlier in the vid (~ 0:11) I thought I'd seen rudder...
in close caption (at the time mark you mentioned) it's gone ...
