that's statistics.. and they lie!

picture a new user registering and for his "hello my name is Anon.." post he earns three thanks because he has his location set, says something nice about this forum because he read a lot before, and also has something to say that's of some value for some of us.
and there we are.. 100% and 300% counting clicks ...

statistically he'll be nearly unbeatable even if he'll never return.

And that's what happened here, I have a few good posts, yes;
but it's the persistance in quality content that makes you guys awesome!

So, thank YOU for being here, and helping out whereever help is needed.

Blah, blah, blah; the simple fact is YOU post stuff that we can't find or simlpy don't know where to look; YOU provide the obscure info after doing the research; you've even assisted ME, which doesn't happen very often because it's not often necessary...

Wow, it really is amazing. Tony's cracked 10K posts, and Paul's not far behind. It's amazing how far this place has come!

Yeah- quality over quantity, statistics, etc... whatever! There's more to this than Q&A. Something I have long liked about this place is the community feel. Far beyond "your carb needs cleaning" or "you're way overgeared", is what we have here: fellowship. Many of us are on a first-name basis. We've shared personal ups and downs, and taken gentle (usually...) pokes at each other, and ourselves. We've shared joy and sorrow, tribulation and triumph, speed records and blown engines.

A hearty pat on the back and a handshake to ALL of you that make DIY Go Karts what it is! Ten posts or ten thousand, you guys ROCK!
