i have obtained a tyler dunn sc1-59 very similar to this:
it works so i thought it would make a nice electric go cart. its my first build so i not trying to over do it. i have basically what is a working 24v golf cart wiring im going to directly transfer over, but ill need to make the motor drive the axle of the go cart somehow.
basically i want to replicate what is shown in this youtube video.

the motor of the sc-1 is basically a golf cart motor but it has an output shaft with a chain sprocket on it, and a nice mount and bearing on the front basicly what the video above had made for the golf cart motor. the sprocket is removable from the motor and is on a 11/16th inch shaft. so i figured i could change it to a different one that could be attached to the a go cart standard axle. i have never done anything like this so any input is very appreciated .
