1K Motor on Racing Kart

My high school engineering students put a 1KW motor on a racing kart. Has a top speed of 23. Not impressive, but it does go. I would love to switch it to a 5KW motor.

Was it faster or slower than the kart in the video? Different controllers can make a huge difference as well though

Not sure how fast the one in the video went. Mine was 23mph.
