So we all know the snow is coming soon. But im a bit worried that i wont be able to ride my kart on it. i have a 30 series torque converter and i know that it doesnt help when im in sand. I have a feeling the same will happen in the snow. does anyone have any experience with it?

what would the effects of changing that sproket? would it run like it does now if i did that except just with bigger tires? will i lose any low end power? will my top speed be less?

sorry its taken so long, but the belt is curved on only one side, the side the engine is on. and the shaft is 5/8"

it does have a belt with two pullys ant the front sproket is mounted to the second pulley. im not sure about the second question. the kart isnt at home with me so i cant really look at the moment

im not sure what i have now. it came on the motor when i bought the kart. the motor is a 6 hp tecumseh. and i removed the fenders a while ago. they were constantly being banged around so i just took them off. i think it looks better that way too. and by front sprocket you mean the one on the...

im not exactly sure what my rear tire sizes are off hand since it isnt with me. but the fron is a 145/75/6 and i have 6 inch rims in the front and 8 in the back. and heres a pic as well

so im looking to get some new tires and rims for my gokart but im stuck. i want something decently sized like an atv tire but i would need rims that only takes one lug instead of multiple in a circle but i cant find any larger rims like that. does anyone have a url where i can find rims like...

id much rather leave the kart the way it looks and create some sort of suspension system that comes off of where the axle is currently in place so i wont need to modify the frame much if at all ill work on a drawing

also, i was thinking. if i were to build some sort of bracket and support that could bolt onto a shock and then make another bracket that i could put on the axle and bolt to the other eye of the shock would that work? or would it be unstable?

im not looking to up the value of it. i want it to have fun. and i dont have the resources or materials to build one. id much rather make this one to my liking because its pretty close to that the way it is now

im upgrading from a centrifugal clutch. ive been told that doing this will upgrade performance and speed

im not 100% certain on what a swing arm is. i believe its one of these. the picture in the second post of the tread http://www.diygokarts.com/vb/showthread.php?t=8390

it does have a 3/4'' saft i want to replace an existing part. i want to get more power out of my motor on offroad conditions since thats whit i ride on
