After riding for a while the belt felt far better and grabbed the cvt more, it looks like quality too. Will see how it holds up in the future.

I somehow received my belt even though it was supposed to arrive far latter, will be testing is thing out since I just did a decent clean on the cvt yesterday.

I was able to mess with it and get it this close, but sadly my belt was delayed to arrive after I left so I’m going to have to use this belt and redirect the belt or refund and repurchase it to the location I’m staying

I still plan to put the comet belt on but it was decently bent and the chain was old, I will do more tests to see if it’s consistent but this generally fixed it.

I am happy to say that I found the problem, I bought a new chain, it came with a new 60 tooth sprocket and I thought “why not”. As I was getting ready to put on my new chain I find my rear sprocket is bent And when I go to test after putting the new rear 60 tooth and chain I hit an astounding 48...

I don’t believe my cvt driven and driver have been misaligned but I haven’t checked them in a while

Here’s pictures of that newer belt with 30 minutes. I also know a guy who rides around with a big block 420 and he recommended black horse belts to me do you know anything about those?

I see that now thanks for pointing that out I’ll take the newer belt off and send you pictures of what that looks like since it only has 30 minutes on it. I found a good looking rotary belt for sale on omb warehouse would that work or should I get comet?

New belt vs newer belt seems the new one stretch out quicker I’ve also included what the clutch looked like before lubrication and the newer ones pictures are before it was rode (not the same 2 belts)

So if I go out and spend $30 for one good comet belt will it guarantee my top speed gets fixed?

I’ve hit 50 and had a fine time with this last belt from the same pack but maybe I’m having bad luck with this one I’ll swap to my last belt I have and see how that goes

I was able to compression test the engine and get it to 60 by hand and 70 by drill, but I do know there is a compression release so this might have been a pointless test

After getting better looks and touching the belt it left black marks on my hands from the inside and is peeling somewhat from the outside, I only have most likely 2 hours on this belt at most.
