    Thanks for the replies. My stage 1 kit includes a 22mm Mikuni and header pipe, so there is no more governor. I have not yet removed the internal governor components. I didn't buy a kit, just a carb/intake and a pipe, and a jet kit. I can't even justify upgrading valve springs, flywheel, rod...
