So I have this brake I’m trying to set up. I have a hand brake but can’t figure out how to get it to return. Since it’s not on a foot pedal with a spring I need to find a way to get the brake to return. I’m thinking of somehow attaching a spring?

Lots of welding I’ve had to do. In the final steps to get it rolling and rideable. Needs to find rims and tires. They’re pretty expensive

Will post update pictures soon. Can use bearing flange for a 5/8 spindle and a 3/4 wheel hub? Or am I better off just getting exact fit? didn’t realize I bought 5/8 spindle and 3/4 hub

I measure it. It is 3/4. Is there any place that sells kits for 3/4 axle? Can’t seem to find anything online. Probably just have to buy parts separate?

one side of the axle had a chunk out of it. And the hubs were broken. Last owner tried taking it off with a hammer. Only good part still is the sprocket.

I have this frame I’m using to turn into a cooler kart. It had a live 38in axle running through it. Would I just use a 38 again and run the same drum style brake? Forgot to take before pictures. The one with the engine is how it was set up
