Here's my Starbird! Still need to paint it and restore the seat. It has a custom live axle that I made from scratch, just cut the ends off the solid axle and welded on bearing cups I machined! Rear tires are some old snowblower tires. Gonna get new front tires / rims soon.

took it for a test drive and found a new problem... it stutters when under load, and i think the reason is some other resistors are connected to the one i changed. and when i change one the others might get offset too. heres a schematic (i changed R31)

the whole project cost about 200$ but the controller cost 20.

made it work at 24v thanks for the help! (all i had to do was change the resistor)

i tested it and it worked! thanks! though i dont have a 36v motor so is there some way to bypass the cutoff? edit: i found how to do it (i can change R31 from 3.6K to 4.7K)

so i have a yk31c controller (36v 500w but im using 24v). when i got it i wired all the important stuff for a bench test (motor wire, power, lock, throttle) and nothing happend. I tried everything to make it work but i cant figure it out so im asking for help!
