The Grasshopper Kart is getting a set of heavy duty structural tubing side bars. Owens Kart is being upgraded to his design also. Beefed up tubing and all welded into place. It’s a long process, but with a welder anything can be done!

That is a good idea also. Temporarily we are running a set of Crager hubcaps. He did not like my design of hubcaps. So until he decides I am leaving it alone. I did find another Clark Kart not far from here with the original 5” wheels and they too would require some work in order to use a 6” tire.

I may go buy another Kart that has Rupp wheels on it and modify them for my sons Kart.

Most commonly, I was referring to the really nice Rupp, Manco and Other vintage Karts that have a polished metal floorboard.

What is the floorboard on a vintage or race kart? Stainless or polished aluminum??
