Update: I never found it, I ended up putting that engine on the shelf to save for a later build. I looked at a bunch of disassembly videos and it appears that the newer non-hemi's don't have lash caps anymore. I could be wrong but oh well 😂

Well I just did the same thing, no luck on finding the lash cap. So I took off the head in hopes to find it and no dice. Maybe the newer non hemi’s don’t have lash caps. I honestly don’t know what to do at this point.

Time to buy some gaskets 🙏

You know what's funny, I was speaking to a predator customer service rep. He was making fun of the names HF calls the parts of the engine, he said Lash caps are called valve rotators, and spark arrestor is called ash collector lmao. On a side note, what should I do to get the lash cap out...

It has a lash cap on the exhaust side, and I'm running stock cam with a stage one kit from GPS. Haha yes, I love Florida weather!

I was doing an 18Lbs valve spring install on my predator 212. When I took off the rocker there was no lash cap on the exhaust valve. I've tried to look for it and even drained the oil to find it, but no luck. Its ran just fine, I don't know if it fell out during the installation, but I have new...
