If the oxygen was released for only short periods of time, do you think that would be a problem? Also, would releasing compressed air instead of pure oxygen help with the over heating? Thanks for answering, by the way.

I have a purely hypothetical question here... If I were to hook up a small compressed oxygen tank to the air intake of a go kart motor and implement some kind of trigger that would release some of the oxygen into the motor, would I get any type of "boost" effect, or would nothing happen?
