    Awesome work on reply. After searching and taking in what you have said, I think I want a 4 stroke motor in this thing. But how? Can I use a 150 gyx motor and mate it to the short "tranny" where the out put shaft is?

    Ok think it is a 2 stroke by looking at the cylinder head. I dont see a valve cover not placed to adjust valves. But I could be wrong as I'm just starting my research on this cart. Here is some more pics for you all to help me fig out model of cart and what engine it has and my options.

    I recently picked up this go cart for free wanting to get it running for kids to mess around on. From what o have seen this is a 2 stroke motor, hence the oil injection tank. The shaft to crank case length is also 7inchs, compared to the 9.5 inches on the 150cc motors. Also this motor has a...
