Sorry I haven't posted an update. He loves the gokart and is getting really good at driving it. I want to do some minor upgrades on it this fall.

So what should I offer...? Just looking to throw a predator 420cc motor on there to ride around with my stepson and his kart. I don't care for the fiberglass body that came with these so I won't be doing much body work.

Ok I got the motor in. A couple slight problems though... even without the throttle engaged the kart wants to roll slightly on its own just under idle. Its not much but I would prefer it to be completely stopped until the gas pedal is pressed. I cant figure out whats causing it to roll... the...

im trying to remove the whole rear axle off the kart before painting. How to I get the axle off? There are 2 wheel bearings on the axle that bolt to the frame. I unbolted those thinking whole whole axle would unmount but it wont budge.... I dont see anything else holding the bearings/axle to...

Ok. I got the new motor on there. It does 30mph according to my gps. It's a pretty stout motor I'm happy with it.

ok im test fitting the motor. How do I get the inner part of the drive pulley off the old motor? I tried sliding it off the shaft but it dont move. Dont see anything bolting it down... I dont want to damage it. I read somewhere about there possibly being a key...?

What do you think is the most durable spray paint? I know the base color is going to be orange. Im looking for something durable without a clear coat but if a clear coat is going to make that big of a difference then I will do it. Krylon, rustoleom, etc...? I even considered using engine...
