Can you change the driver and driven on a chinese tav 2 to make it a 40 series?

I am using a stock predator 212 to start out on my kart build. I will most likely upgrade it later and would like to reuse what I can if I can. I don't see a previous post on this. I did look but my wife says that I am blind especially to things she has cleverly hidden in plain sight.

I got a bit excited. I bought the welder on sale for $88 and bought all the parts to turn it dc and since I imported all the pieces from china I actually have all the parts to convert 5 of them. I can't wait to see if it really works. I really appreciate all the advice. Keep it coming. I need it.

I have no weld or fab experience. Not knowing things is how I usually start off any new hobby. I am never afraid to take a shot at anything and I have never really failed at anything. I am a voracious reader and born researcher so knowledge is never very far away.

So am I so I decided to build one from scratch for me. I have no experience (at all with anything to do with building a go kart)...
