    Project: "Pile O' Crap"

    When I have a hard time seating a bead on a tire, I put a ratchet strap around the circumference and tighten it up. It usually forces the beads onto the rims. Then I air it up. A thick rope with something to twist the ends around (1/2 extension), has worked for me also.

    A section of a leaf spring off a vehicle is a good piece of metal to use for a scrub brake. It already has a curve to it...
