My karts steering is a 5/8th steel rod riding in 2 steel 1" tube's. Is this the norm? I would think a bushing or bearing in the tubes would be way better then just steel on steel? I would like to move my steering wheel forward. Would a U-joint be the best way to do this? You can find cheep...
