    Gear Ratio?

That sounds great. A forty series sounds good. Now this 44magnum you are talking about. Is it like a 2 minute change or does it take some time. The reason I would like to know this is because if you gain the torque you say it does then I may want to swap them depending on what I am doing.

Ok. Thanks very much. I was wondering about removing the governor from my engine. What would I expect my rpm gain to be?

    Gear Ratio?

Alright sounds good. Would an 18" tire be ok for this setup or should I go bigger? I intend on taking it through the fields and on the makeshift track we have in our one horse town.

How else would I connect it? I have been searching on Princess Auto and the only sprockets they have are weld on sprockets. I have some research to do. Luckily my dad is a mechanic by trade. He is going to help me on this project. The problem is we don't know much about the small hp engines...

I have access to a welder. I don't think there is much more welding to do. The drive sprocket needs to be welded to the axle. Some cutting will ned to be done to fit a larger engine on the kart.

Canada. Southern Alberta. Halfway between Calgary and Lethbridge. Hopefully you know where they are lol. I may be able to get pictures. Do you just need a picture of the motor or the whole thing? It is propped up on a wall behind alot of wood. It is mostly a materials shed.

It is just a rectangular frame. 14 gauge 1 1/4" square steel tubing. The welds seem strong. They are also quite smooth and clean. Also how fast would 3.5 hp move 200 lb with a 5:1 gear ratio (rear axle: clutch)? Edit: Thanks for the estimate. I couldn't find much on the internet. The engine...
