What is the experience of others regarding toe settings?

Flathead B&S carbs and tanks are getting scarce. Does anyone make an adapter to install a 5HP Tecumseh carb to a B&S? I could make one myself but I'd rather buy something nice.

I got this engine with the kart and I don't have an air cleaner for it. What carb is it? I'm used to the center mount air cleaner and not too familiar with this design. Also, I keep seeing reference to a Tilly carb. I guess that means a Tillitson, right? Is there such available for my 5HP B&S...

In the past I've been very dissatisfied with the Carlisle slicks. So for this kart I bought the sawtooth tires (4" front, 5" rear). Suggestions for tire pressure? I'm running about 7.5 psi +/- in the front and about 20 in the back, trying to reduce low speed understeer.

By default I have wound up with two B&S 5hp engines. Certain parts are getting difficult to find. What engine is the most serviceable these days?

On the kart that I just sold, the band brake worked well cold but stopping diminished quite a bit when hot. Has anyone tried to drill holes around the drum flange and install some perhaps 3/8"x1" bolts to add mass and to hang out, cooling in the breeze? Or added any cooling to them at all?
