hi, newb here. i dont know anything about clutches/torque converters. especially in the world of go karts. but when someone says clutch on this site, does that mean i can shift a go kart like i do my car with a standard 5-speed?

hi, im new to the forum and i just decided i would like to build a go kart in the future. im interested in how cheaply some of you have built your custom go karts. and i dont mean racing or extremley fancy go karts. so what kind of price tag am i looking at assuming i build my own frame?
