Hi!

500 mile 7.5 hour round trip ... ID Tag intact. Back wheels have outside shell damage. Still has a very clear warning sticker and the paint is 'mostly' there albeit doesn't seem like paint was a priority. I can't wait to try it!

Dangerous machine, not as stark a warning as don’t use a hair dryer while bathing but it’s a neat sticker.
Outside shell damage, what is that? Chipped rims? Azusalites are still available, luckily. Could get by with just a half instead of an entire wheel.

You sir are a man on a mission with no miles spared. … Two Robrons, that is no accident.

Would love to see the sprocket and drum, that looks factory.

Hello

One of the spindles was broke (1/2" from the barrel) on the A-Bone. These spindles along with everything else on this kart is unusual looking (geometry wise) ... I compared the spindles with the ones on the Rocket and although similar they have significant differences even beyond the angles. The barrel is noticeably thicker on the A-Bone and the axles are longer.

I believe part of the 'issue' is Rupp / Robron didn't use the Ackerman Steering Geometry used by so many other kart manufacturers.

Being 30 minutes from Mooresville I am going to find a shop that can use technology to put the pieces to together to rebuild my part which got me thinking whether others might be interested in Rupp / Robron spindles for either of these karts?

Is this allowed on the site? Has anything like this been done before or is there already someone who has done it (easier on me I can just buy from them)?

I've spent a few hours researching and I don't see anything on these spindles (or any Rupp / Robron spindles for that matter). There are listings on eBay that say they will work but they are not close. I found a set of Margay spindles on eBay that had the correct axle diameter, length and barrel dimensions although the arm placement to the barrel as well as the angle are not correct.

Sorry for the rambling ... partially thinking out loud.
