Hello all, in this post I’m moving to the next step for my crazy project and I got the engine. A 16hp Briggs V Twin. The only issue I see is the oil filter adapter would be in the way of the torque converter I wanna use (GPS 40 series). I saw online a few people are essentially flipping their torque converters upside down, so the driven pulley would be on the left if viewed from the PTO. I’ve also seen a remote oil filter adapter but it seems it’s not made for the 16hp I have. I figured I’d go where the experts are. Thank you for all the help.

Make sure you mock it up; place the engine on the kart in the way it 'will go' so you can position the sheaves/pulleys and make sure there's no interference. Photos would be lovely.

I also agree with Denny, the TC doesn't care which way it is oriented, just as long as it turns -->COUNTER<-- clockwise.
