Hello everyone!! I'm new to the site. Just wanted to say thank you to the creators and everyone in the forum. I spent the last 2 hours reading alot of stuff on here and gained some extra knowledge. Just a dad from NJ, trying to fix a go kart (bought on FB Marketplace) for his son.

There’s a difference. Ask your grandkids who is the coolest grandpa? Nuff said!
True. Kids ask to "borrow" money. Grandbrats ask to be given money.
neither has any intention of paying it back. The difference is terminology.
I'm already the cool grandpa. If you saw my compitition you'd know.
l still want a refund.

Welcome to the guru go kart forum! Lots of good short cuts for repairs and tips for preventing future problems with using superior parts for your needs. Hopefully your son gets the ‘bug’ to fix the kart (on his own) when it brakes down instead waiting (and losing interest) for YOU to fix it. I had a fun fixing and improving my son’s kart and a blast watching him drive it. When he was old enough to grip pliers tight and hold a screw driver straight he lost interest. Now that he’s a dad he wishes he new more about the mechanics of karts. Good luck with your repairs.
