Would that give the proper gear ratio with the 54 tooth sprocket I have? I just don't want to burn up another clutch and be out $100+ again...
Would just going with a 10 tooth clutch be my best option? I'm not looking to spend a ton of money and I want something quick and painless that I can do myself so I can get a few weeks of riding in before it starts snowing up here.
I'm trying to put together a kart and am fairly new at this. Have a 54 tooth sprocket, a 13hp engine and 15" sno hog tires. I tried to use this clutch:
Hilliard Extreme Clutch 1" #41 17T
and it immediately started smoking and burned up on the first attempt at acceleration. What did I do...
