well.. being mine is such a small kart. I'm going to mount the trigger for the Throttle on my steering wheel!! because sitting on the kart my legs are pretty much crossed togeather.. but its still comfortable.. WOW your kart looks AWESOME!!! good work.

as for the motor being new... its not!! It has a label on the side of the motor that says Lifan? or something like that? btw here is my progress that i did over this weekend. now just the chain has to be put on and then the throttel hook up and breaks..

no compression at all. just replaced old diaphram with new. my hands are blistered and my back hurts from trying to get it running!! lol..

the person wanted $80.00 but he told me to come same day and he will let it go for $70.00 bucks..... So i went there with $60.00 bucks and he sold it to me so i'm pretty happy with that!!

well there was alot he said, i left the motor with him for two days. when i picked it up it looked better than when i brought it to him.. gas filled to the top, brand new spark plug, plenty of spark!! he told me it would defanatley need a new carb or a good used one, needed valve job for sure...

I had the same problem with the tapered shaft, my motor was from a 5 hp briggs generator an old ugly green one!! but i work in a machine shop so i had the machinest put a ket in it for me. good luck with doing it yourself " ive seen it done too"

so after getting the first motor i bought for my kart I had the shaft keyed, changed the oil bought a new spark plug cleaned it super good... after all that, i went to start it and NOTHING!! so i took it to a good friend of mine that had worked at a mower shop for over 30 years. he looked at it...

anyone have one extra HF motor they wanna sell to me?

with these tires i will hat to use the tube that is inside the HF tire right?
