Hi Mal, looks really good. I'm between "restoring" mine or leaving it in its "working clothes". I thing working clothes make it look a little more realistic, and since rust is not a serious problem with it just now, that seems to be the prefered. While on the line, have you ever heard of a breed...

Pleased the photos worked this time. The module is from a powertorque engine, which has been the same one since the inception of this engine, until they changed to the integral unit a couple of years ago. If they work, they work, or they have failed, That is the only test I know of for modules...

Photos Hi, I've been educated and learnt this new technology, so I have attached 2 photos of the Victa ignition module as fitted to my C12. Hope these help. Bill

Photo problem I think I have found the problem - photo size too big. Wrong setting on the camera, so I'll try again tomorrow. Bill

Hi again, Attached are photos of the Victa module as fitted to my C model engine. Installation is easy, just find a good place to put the module and attach the wires to the terminal that otherwise go to the points. Do not include the condenser (capacitor) in this connection. As long as the...

Mal, I'll get a photo ASAP. Works well on my C model, which has the coil under the flywheel. Does the D model feature the external coil? Bill

Thought I had responded to your request, so if this a repeat, it is only a dumb Aussie not computing properly!! The module was a Powertorque unit. This is the one with the push-on tab. Hope your friend finds this Ok. Bill

Pleased you liked to photos, Pete. Mal, I had a good spark, but the problem was it was breaking down. I checked the points and condenser, and the points were "burning", and almost worn out. The condenser tested OK, so I was going to seek help for a set of points. Then I thought I would try to...

Well, I fixed up the "off" switch today and gave the motor a severe pull. It fired and ran for a little while, but needs final tuning and adjustment. That may be a job for tomorrow. Looking promissing to have another resurection in hand!! Bill

Hi sexyvicta, Nice machine. Same colour as my rotary mower with the same stamped emblems. The power unit on this mower looks like a JAP unit. Bill

Back again. Have been told it is a C12 Iron Horse 2 stroke of late 1950's. Yes, this Morrison is quite heavy steel, with individual wheel height adjustment. It was brought over from NZ many years ago, and lived in the Gunnedah area of NSW, so little humidity for the conversion of steel to iron...

Hi all, my mower is a steel chassis and catcher. Maybe the steel lasts longer in Aus because we look after it better??!!! Masport Aus and NZ have no records or information on a unit of this age, so all I can get from all the experts and enthusiasts the better. I believe these machines are rare...
