Sikk is a high quality product though, unlike SSR or some similar brand, and i know its going to be small but that's the whole point, i want something small and portable.

My electric starter isn't working, my battery is dead so im using a battery charger set to "Immediate Start." The starter motor is fine but i have a feeling it has something to do with the gear that engages the flywheel or possibly something else. It turns and then acts like its backfiring but...

wow i have the same exact engine, good job on it though, mine wouldnt start either, i had to tear it down, clean rebuild, check the points, lol, only thing different is mines a 2 hp (sson to be more when im done with it, lol)

i have the same problem but not as bad, you can usually hold down the brake and it will lower the rpms.
