    It "appears" to be assembled correctly, chain is too long. You should be able to shorten it with a grinder and a slender pin punch. Take your master link off, carefully grind the 1st pin flush with the face of the side plate and tap it out with the pin punch -- two half links should come away...

    It's tough to be 100% sure from the pics but I'm pretty sure it's an asymmetrical setup (30 series). The back face of the driven looks pretty flat as does the back of the driver. Fishblock, when you look at the pulleys, do they look like: \| /| or do they look like...

    I'll agree with t0x1k and pilauboy, your driven is installed backwards, also, if you've got clearance for it the small chain sprocket should be installed behind the driven, as close to the bearing as possible -- hanging all the way at the end of the jackshaft as it is will cause no end of grief...
