So on my little 5 h.p. flathead Briggs, if I want the least amount of restriction, just remove the exhaust pipe and muffler completely? I'm gonna try it and see how loud it is. The neighbors aren't too crazy about all our loud toys anyway. But hey, it can't be any louder than my YZ 450f.

Guys, Thanks for replies. To answer first question, the steering wheel and everything connected to it turn easy. Steering is setup the way I think is correct. It has the Ackerman effect thing happening and it tracks good. It just wants to snowplow when trying to turn. Yes, the seat is back...

Really, man that sucks. I don't think my seven year old will be able to turn it. Is it hard to swap over to only one wheel pulling? It has a comet 30 on it now. I guess that would be a torque converter.

Are the rear tires too big? Is that the reason it is so hard to get it to turn? Also, if I left the current rear tires on and found some the same height but not as wide for the front, would that do the trick? Thanks

Hey ya'll, Kinda new to this carting thing. We have inherited an old, Carter - Super Wheels. Does that sound right? Think that's what the decal says. It has a B&S 5 h.p. engine and a comet 30. We are about to get it going. Once I figure out how the carb works. That's a question for another...
