Sounds like a busted transmission to me.

That was a starter/generator. Golf carts use them also. Mine has the pulley attached to the torque converter, that might be easier than putting a pulley on the flywheel, and keeps the rope start.

So this is how im setting it up now according to what i believe is correct.

So the little rubber peaks should be rotating into the other peaks? I was comparing this to my other golf cart and thought I had it right. This is correct?

I have a BKS Grasshopper, but it is clutch and chain instead of TAV.

What I would do is stack your tie rods at the steering column.

The rod between the front and rear pedals is in the wrong hole on the front pedal, which is why it is down like it is.

I wish people would stop talking about upgrades in stages, as if everyone knows what that is. Second, intake and exhaust upgrades are the foundation to upgrades later, like governor delete and cam. If you aren't going to do that, then don't bother with intake and exhaust.

I don't want to sacrifice ground clearance. A 420, without the muffler and gas tank, is a little under 12 inches high.
