Just bought my young boys what I believe is a 2014 Kandi 125CC buggy. Looking for some advice on which upgrades to make on the buggy to make it faster off the line. Would like to preserve the electric start and reverse. Working with a budget of ~$1000 for the upgrades.

Images down under!!! Runs just fine. Oil looked to be in good shape but I still changed it. Needs 4 new tires. It's a little difficult to switch to drive and reverse from neutral. It is sluggish and take a while to hit top speed- looking to upgrade to make it quicker out of the gate.

Always wanted a go kart when I was younger, but wasn't in the cards. Now I'm attempting to make up for my parents' mistake! Just bought a Chinese-made kart from a neighbor who is moving. Make and model of the kart are unknown to me. Anyone out there recognize what this is? I'm fairly handy...
