Sorry for my ignorance on the engine subject... this is something that I know nothing about. All I know is that it is a flathead...I am trying to learn as much as I can from any source possible. The guy I bought it from had just traded for it and didn't know anything about karting at all...

that's the problem..there's not really a "local" track..but there are 2 within an hour of me.

I'm gonna race it...just takes time to learn all the basics i guess.

is that a good motor or do i need to upgrade?

I'm not sure about the engine...don't know much about these yet. all i know is it is a flathead. I'm not sure what color i as\m gonna paint it...maybe metallic blue with a yellow body and blue numbers.
