    Grandaddy kit from BMI?

Yes, having done modeling (aka building ship models and airplanes) I know it easily dents when subjected to impact. Being used for something to soak up small impacts that is better then a pine 2x4 or piece of rubber.

    Personal Belongings

FWIW: My keys are all on tethers and rings, attached looped to my belt, not a clip. My Swiss knife (folding needle nose pliers - actually Leatherman Wingman) and other folding knife are on tethers. If I elect to carry a third knife, it is full tang. CLIPPED, and goes onto my gun belt, on the...

    Personal Belongings

    > But I'm thinking of taking it on a several hours long journey. To me that says extra water, extra gas, tools and spare parts for whatever is likely to strand me, such as broken clutch springs and a belt. Air pump and tire plug kit. Way to start a fire and suitable rain clothes. I keep a real...

    Trouble bleeding Chine

When I have trouble with bleeding brakes or clutches, beyond calling for my victim (wife) to help, I elevate the vehicle so the master is higher then the slave or wheel cylinder. If possible bleeding it off the go-kart would probably be my first choice or jacking it up or dropping the caliper...

    Grandaddy kit from BMI?

    > so I have a descent understanding of what this will entail. ackerman angles! or as the speller checker suggests mackerel angles! I am building a go-kart for kids to drive and I plan on a bumper with shocks and a balsa wood bumper over the steel frame of the bumper, so, they minimize damage...

Using A Jackshaft For Cheaper Twin Engine Gokart

My experience is in trucks from minis to semis. plus, OPE. Though it is uncommon, it is not rare, to have two big 120 cc chainsaws running a bar, attached at each end, for slabbing, running on the same chain. I am pretty sure how this works is you do not get double the HP or double the TQ...

Snow Blower Transmission = Manual Kart?

    > Has anyone ever used a snow blower style transmission in a go kart to make it manual? No, but, they made riding lawn mowers aka Rear End Riders I currently have 5 of them, using 4 of them to make a 6x8. The other one will just be a spare back up mower. FWIW: The disc is steel. Plus, they...

150+ hp two seater rear axle chain driven

    > I am extremely budget limited 50/month Well, at least around in the Atlanta Georgia area you can buy Ford 9" axles for $150-$300. For a non road use vehicle, those are fairly easy to cut down and reweld the axle tube ends. If you get a Ford F-100 axle, they came with 5x4.5 vs. the truck...

Hi, new member from Atlanta , I need to know what I have ... :-)

    > No offense, but I hope you didn't pay $200 The only way to offend me would be running me over with a 2 or 4 wheels contraption 🙃 > but, to me it is worth $200. I think this is at least 11 gauge or 1/8" wall tubing. I do not think I could even buy the metal new for under $300, never mind...

Hi, new member from Atlanta , I need to know what I have ... :-)

Hi, new member from Atlanta , I need to know what I have ... :) Greetings, Though I have worked on all sorts of vehicles and machines, I have never owed a go-kart or worked on one. Until a few months ago, when I bought the derelict at auction while buying some lawn tractors. All I know about...
