The bowl is on correctly, and the float is adjusted correctly. With the help of landuse's post, I managed to find a diaphragm carb that will be a perfect drop-in replacement. Will be purchasing and replacing soon. I'll post updates when I get the chance.

There is a sender in the bottom of the casing, with wires running up the back of the engine. Somebody said that oils sloshing around could trigger the sender and stop the engine, so as a precaution I simply cut the wire.

I have a small go-cart with a Tecumseh OHH55 engine on it. I have a very strange problem in that the engine completely loses power when going over bumps or turns, only for the power to return after a few seconds. I have tried many things: removing the low oil sensor, doing a carb clean, carb...
