Tire height is a big deal too, with 15 inch tall tires 6:1 and a CVT would work great, 22" tires and it wont move if you try to start on a hill with 6:1.

A good turbo-encabulator produces twice the gains that POS will.

Some OHV engine tend to blow out between the push rod cavity and bore, unless it uses torque to yield bolts (usually only seen in automotive stuff) you can reuse the bolts.

Keep in mind most gears on a bike are overdrive gears, so a lot of reduction will be needed before you apply power to the bikes crank.

Don't forget the parrallels and 123 blocks! As for the collet, you will have to figure out the taper.

Weight, properly designed, a glass over foam unibody would be WAY lighter than a steel chassis.

Custom is where you make somehting the way YOU want it and follow no trends in your modifications. For example, there is nothing custom about a 32 ford coupe with a SBC, everybody does it. A FR SBC bug is custom.
