So this was our rain gauge yesterday, emptied it out yesterday. Wonder how full it will be when I get home after work?

This game has global fans and one wants Lego to make an official set. The Factory must grow. Honestly kind of hilarious too, but should be doable since they already do up Minecraft Lego sets. https://ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/e71b69f4-827f-47dc-be5e-007cc6c33cbe?tab=comments

I forget where the idea came from, other than knowing that Yeti coolers are stupid expensive for what they are. But it does give you perspective on what one can achieve within the Yeti cooler budget and still have room for food and drinks.

Anyone ever try an Affordable Bender?

I do most of the time. They have a Rogue Fab bender. Weld it yourself kit starts just under $800...requires a compressor to run.

Yeah well the plans were wrong so re-working them with the correct materials to better suit my needs, kind of got me on a bit of a kick. I think some of it was bad conversions from metric to standard and getting measurements mixed around when describing pipe and tubing. Tubing benders do seem...

But if the fabricator is asking for advice, rather give them solid advice to work with. End of the day, up to them what they get. Definitely not recommending people use conduit...think a few have on here.

Could be worse, could be dropping money on Docol R8 tubing or 4130 chromoly, at least price wise. R8 would be nice since it requores no pres-heat and is fine with wire feed welding.

Pipe isn't structural and weighs more than tubing. The dimensions are also different with pipe being measured by inside diameter vs outside of tube. Pipe also isn't ment to flex, just ment to move a fluid or gas through it. ERW might be fine, but I don't want to compromise my safety and...

I mean is it any worse than the previous design?

I had to do the math and it 100% checks out. You can buy a 2 stroke 1200w generator and a mini fridge for like $308 after tax. Or for $537 with tax you can buy a Yeti Jumbo cooler. You are well ahead with the mini fridge/gen combo and still have money to fill it with drinks, gas, and oil...

Why limit yourself with a pistol version and just SBR it?

All I know is, manufacturers are going to be printing money for a while now. Don't be surprised if cans aren't available for a bit after the next week or so.

Depends on the materials, tooling, design. The have overhead costs. I think the cheapest suppressor is like $200 for a .22Lr. 3D metal printing is not cheap for tooling. It is coming down in price, but not much.
