Ive always had a idea to make a 4 in thick walled steel box around the engine, incase the flywheel explodes or something breaks andflies around.

I have a '84 murray with one. I barely use the clutch, and its been used hard its whole life. Better yet, go to ATLTF.COM and ask. They'll tell ya practically the same thing I just did. You could also ask Maine Mud Mower about it.

I know this thread is dead, but I have to state my opinion. I cant drive FWD, Auto, or with computers controlling how I drive. When learn ,to drive with a standard, no ABS,no TRAC control, and a underpowered truck, you learn or ya wreck, in my case it was learn. All the new computer BS ruins...

Why the hell would you scrap it? Send it to me if you dont want it. Dont part it out. These motors are far and few.

YA could shift it while moving. But their hard to get in and out of gear with tension on the internals, Like while parked on a hil.

Ok that helps me some. It does have honda engine in it. A 250 with variable cam timing by way of 2 sliders on the side if the cam cover. And it has DOHC

No thanks. I got it for free so im not complaining. Ive got another junk kart that I turned into something thats worth ridng. It only needs 2 cables and a starter anyways.

Hell yeah. My friends friend gave ut to him, and since hes paralyzed below the waist, he cant drive it. So I asked if I could have it and I got it.

Tecumsehs have always had carb problems. Try to put a briggs or clone carrb on it.
