ok i got almost enogh parts to put together a jackshaft so thats what im doing.. so we know that the teeth on my clutch are going to 10 and then im going to put a 20 tooth gear on the jack shaft coming from the engine and then on the other side of the js im going to put a 14tooth gear go ing to...
would it be posible for a jc to work like this: first i put a drive gear on the engine(not a clutch)to the jc and then on the other end of the jc put the clutch?
well i found out that i can get a 14 or a 17 tooth clutch now does that make it any better?or will they burn up if i try it :huh: if that wont work i will just go on ebay and find a cheap tc setup from comet or whAT ever
well my tires are 18's and off road with a lttle bit off hills and with me on it, it would weight around 380lbs and it's powerd by a 9 hp honda (it's not a clone)and the size of the crankshaft is 1'' inch it is keyed and threds at the end
well i dont really know what clutch i should get cause im so confuesed about gear ratio. i have a 54 tooth sproket on my kart (that weighs like 200-250lbs) and the only clutch that i can find that has a 1'' keyed shaft has 10 teeth witch i dont know if that will work or not:worried2:will it or...
yeah same i had a right front tire on my go kart that wouldnt seal so i used slime and that stuff works awsome the rim is bent cause i hit a tree and it still seals!!and it dosent wable:wai: im still an idiot for hitting a tree in the first place:roflol::oops:
well this is what they use in big rigs for air ride and airbrakes
i use it for my paintball gun it is really strong and it never breaks when it get's cold from me shooting it off 30 times or more in row

wow i run 18's and they work fine(there old lawn mower tires)
and for street use old golf cart tires i think there 14'' or 15'' they work fine i only got a 9hp honda and i fly! :wai:
but i can go up hills like no ones buisness hmm must be ma sproket....:D
