    GhostKart electric inverse trike conversion

Finally had time to get back to this project It has been a while since I have been able to work on this project, and so it is time for some progress pics... I had to remove the rear axle, it was just a tube with bolts welded on each end, not a live axle. This is the powertrain, minus the...

Brand new to this - help please!

That looks like just a standard bolt with the head cut off to me. If it were me I would just cut the thing and try to match it up at the local hardware store with a regular bolt and then cut the head off to match the length the original was. I would also get hardened steel since it is for...

    GhostKart electric inverse trike conversion

No, it is not a live axle, which was what made me think the trike idea will work. I am considering removing the back axle completely and mating the kart frame to the rear assembly of the bike to keep my expense down. I am concerned about how strong that will be, but I can weld reinforcements.

Brand new to this - help please!

I'm no expert but is that brake band pin just a bolt with no head and held on the frame by 2 nuts? If so then 2 things I think: 1 it is just that rusted/marred up that it is making the noise coming apart or 2 the outer nut closest to the wheel is bound up by either thread damage or the end of...

    GhostKart electric inverse trike conversion

Ok, a while back I was given a couple of flood damaged electric bikes like these: All of the electronics were toast but the motors still work so I have been wondering what I should do with them. Have had the itch to remake them into *something* I also got an old go-kart frame from a cousin...

    Hey Guys...

I am from the West Texas area and I am working on combining an old homebuilt kart and an electric scooter into an inverse trike. I don't know how many of you are gamers but I want to end up with something that looks like the ghost vehicle from the Halo series video games.
