okay then how do i connect it to a live axle?

do i need a clutch when i use a torque converter? if so how does it fit together in the drive setup? i am new to kart building. i have look around and have not found an answer yet. so i turn to the wisdom of the diy gokart community forum for help. i am still in the power train planning phase
