I'd just modify the ones that are here and add a brake. That brake/sprocket hub that is sold is a pretty cool idea, that would probably give you the most space-saving. But why lights?

I've been kicking around the idea of making an offroad kart. Kinda between a baja and a go kart. I'll post some photos when I get started. Thanks for the ideas from the site!
