You want DCEP electrode positive for mig and DCEN electrode negative for flux with no gas. Remember mig is normal with a negative ground clamp and flux is reversed with a positive ground clamp

NTN shows the 6203 series as 17mm bore (.6693") which is too small for 3/4" shaft (.750") there is no metric equivalent of 3/4" you need to make sure you are getting the right size. What are the numbers on the bearing and manufacturer

would take a while to describe the functionality, but using a jackshaft with a reduction gear and a clutch that will engage a second gear once up to speed.

Thanks all for the input. I do think its geared too high for takeoff and would like to setup a two speed jackshaft at some point.
