oddly enough i did the same thing...after the stage one kit i ran the motor and it was cuttin out on me at full throttle...almost acting like a rev limiter...so i put the stock jet in there this afternoon, left the cold air intake and the header pipe and now it revs up just fine.
Just wondering...when you modified your 301, you said you removed the governor...so your saying you removed the internal governor gear and it also has a rev limiting coil? Just curious cause I am modifying a 301 predator i just picked up from harbor frieght last summer and i removed the governor...
Do you know if the 196cc and the 212cc are the same way now having this rev limiter built in? Also is there a way to tell if it is rev limiting? like does it look different then the ut1?
