It's worth it to buy plans vs. trying to build from scratch. I won't give out the plans I paid for simply because I know someone took the time and effort to draw/ design the plans, and I think they should be supported. Cheers, goose
the cart was made 1:1 with the scale of the plans i didn't expect it to be quite so small. that bushing you see on the steering rod is made by me out of some sort of nylon we had lying around the shop. the jack shaft makes the cart geared 6;1 with a smaller rear sprocket witch makes for more...

That's a excellent question, I have two reasons for doing this. One my little bro is 7 and I wanted to slow it down a bit without having the clutch slip, and two we live in a hilly/ rocky area so having a smaller rear sprocket and more torque is defiantly a plus around here.
