what kind of chainsaw was it? i have a still clutch/chainsaw i was wondering i could find a bell housing and sprocket for it and use the chainsaw engine of course.

talked to a friend he has one actually, also asked him about having one solid axle to move both wheels on my trike and he said it isnt good for turning? like one holds back the other or something, he right?

local repair shop would have one, wonder what they would charge?

how do you check the compression of an engine? it runs, but i didnt want to pull off the head.

is it possible to achieve any kind of low end torque with this 60 cc two stroke? and what top speeds could you get out of it if you had right sprocket config? i mean a kx or yz 60 move. just curious i guess. Ran the motor today think i need to adjust the carb wouldnt idle.....

the part i guess im stuck on is if i want to do street/ or dirt cause a street cart would just use cart slicks which are pretty small would not be much sprocket clearance.

I have a stihl 038 chainsaw engine which seems to have good compression, cleaned out the carb and am pretty sure it will have no problem running. Stripped off all the plastics and was thinking about mounting it on a little trike or mini bike with just a simple centr clutch. Not sure if its a 038...
