do you have any other pictures of your carb governor setup. I have same engine and a heck of a time getting that put together.

It is a 5 hp Briggs - model # 136202 , type: 014401 I put in a carb kit and that seemed to help - I need to replace the throttle cable any suggestions on where to get them. thanks again for all your help !

thanks for your help. here are better photos. again starts up but wants to go right away engine revs up when pressing gas it then slows down. like reverse.

Thank you for the reply. Please see the pics attached. Carb only adjusting screw is below for the gas I don't have a idle screw that I am aware of. thanks again for your help.

Just got go Kart - excited can't wait. starts right up but when started it immediately wants to move forward. If I step on the gas it will stop and it pretty much works in reverse. as I let off the gas it will then go. Any advice on what it is thats causing it to go. Briggs & Stratton 5hp fun...
