Ok so I measured it. It is 7 1/8”-7 3/16” center to center

Yes I could see that it says 725 on it but my original had B instead of C. But I can’t find anywhere to order a specific A,B,C...etc. they are either 669 or 725. No other options that I’ve found. What actually allows it to shift into overdrive? Certain RPM?

Yes it has a flat side closest to the engine. The belt had a angled side and flat. I put the flat towards the engine. Is it possible that a new/tight belt would make it not go into overdrive?

So my kids have a Mudhead 208R. The belt shredded and I replaced it with the exact same belt. I didn’t do anything else to it. Now it will not get up to top speed. It won’t ever get to the “2nd gear”. Any and all help would be much appreciated! Thank You
