Yeah, wife did not understand why a 6 year old would want a go kart (she is from South America)and did not think it was safe. So I did a little work before to save myself the aggravation later.

First thank you... I did check out the recall information before I purchased the kart. Seems mine was built after or already changed/repaired the front wheels. I did not see any other recalls listed but if you do know of one please let me know. Also his God father provided a racing ATV helmet...

I have a carter brother two seater. The shocks in the front seem to change the angle when depressed so I tried to adjust the shock. When doing this I noticed that all the front bushings in the ends of the shock were almost not there. I have searched a few places and have not seen the bushings...

So that kart is not a few years old. The woman I got them from said she bought it last year. Is there a way to find out a year with the numbers on the kart or engine? There is very little wear anywhere on the kart and the rear tires even still have the little nubs. I am replacing the belt some...
