Would I be better off getting 2 car batteries from Walmart to power this or should I be looking at purpose-built scooter batteries from electricscooterparts.com?
Those numbers sound good to me. 24 volt/250 watt motors and controllers are in plentiful supply. As for torque, it's relatively unimportant. It obviously needs enough torque to move at a decent pace but I'm not looking to build a racer.
I'm looking to get an electric motor for a conversion I'm working on. I found several 24 volt electric DC motors with varying wattage ratings. What kind of wattage would I be aiming for if I wanted to wire 2 car batteries in series?
